I don’t like to make a big deal about awards and recognition that I receive, because I don’t consider myself successful yet. That being said, I am honored that other people do consider me successful and continue to give me awards based on my success as a businessman.

And one thing I will brag about, and am very proud of, is being the first African American man to have the honor of being elected to the Board of Directors of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. For those that don’t know, Susan G. Komen Foundation is the 2nd largest Cancer Organization in the World next to American Cancer Society.
